👋 Hello, wonderful Brent community!
We’re excited to share some fantastic news with you! 🎉
The NHS MMR catch-up campaign is making great strides in protecting our community from measles, mumps, and rubella. 🛡️
From January to March 2024, a whopping 360,964 MMR vaccinations were delivered, marking a 23% increase from 2023.
That’s not all – there’s been a fourfold increase in vaccinations for those aged five to 25 years old.
Here’s what you need to know:
🎯 The campaign targets parents and carers of children aged six to 11 years, urging them to book their children’s missed MMR vaccines.

🌍 We’re aiming for a 95% vaccination coverage to keep our community safe and healthy.
📣 Over a million parents and carers of six- to 11-year-olds were contacted to book missed MMR vaccines.
🚀 Children and young adults aged 11 to 25 years in at-risk areas were encouraged to get vaccinated.

Remember, measles is a serious illness, and it’s vital that everyone who is still unprotected gets their two doses as soon as possible.
Let’s work together to keep Brent healthy! 💪

For more info, check out the official NHS website or get in touch with your local health provider. Stay safe, stay healthy! 🌈
